One person, the same person, every time.

I'm Nick. I started Exquisite Detail because I couldn't find anyone who'd treat my own cars the way I wanted them treated, so I learned to do it myself and never really stopped. There's no crew and no subcontractor. Just me, a van full of gear, and your car.

What that means for your car

The person who looks at your photos is the person who quotes the job, and the person who quotes it is the person who does it. Nothing gets handed off, so nothing gets lost between the promise and the work.

It also means I care how it turns out, because my name is the only one on it. I'll spend the extra hour on a hood that isn't there yet. I'll tell you when a scratch is through the clear and polishing won't save it, instead of taking your money to try. And I'd rather do fewer cars properly than more cars quickly, which is why my schedule is tight and my prices are on the site.

I grew up around here and I still get a kick out of pulling into a Temecula driveway and seeing what's under the cover. Huracans, Cayennes, M cars, a Supra or two, and plenty of family SUVs that just deserved better than the tunnel wash. Every one of them gets the same patience. The exotics just get more masking tape.

How a job day goes

Morning

I show up when I said I would, walk the car with you, and confirm the plan from your quote. Coffee optional, but appreciated.

The work

Wash and decontamination first, so nothing gets ground into the paint. Then the machine work or the interior, panel by panel, seat by seat. Watch, ask questions, or leave me to it.

Hand-back

A walk-around in the best light I can find, a few words on looking after it for the first days, and the balance is due. If I coated the car, your first maintenance wash goes in the book before I leave.

Send me the photos

Three in the shade, your zip, and what bugs you about the paint. I'll come back with a price and an hour count.
